We are seeking an experience Scale Operator in Wilmington, DE to join our winning team. We offer steady work , above average wages with weekly pay for those with the skills and knowledge to help our clients achieve their goals.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, some weekend work

Location: Wilmington, DE 19809

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr-$19.00/hr

The Scale Operator is responsible for using a computerized scale to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles. This position requires computer proficiency, and our ideal candidate has prior experience with trucking and industrial workplace safety.

Scale Operator Responsibilities:

• Operating primary (large) and secondary (small) scales.
• Creating and closing tickets on secondary, small scale.
• Scheduling pallet trailer swaps, metal, and Waste Management open top swaps.
• Processing freight invoices.
• Managing all inbound traffic from Gray's Ferry, including monitoring tons.
• Corresponding with suppliers when necessary.
• Maintaining a safe, organized working environment.

Scale Operator Experience:

• 1 year of prior scale operation experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in trucking or in an industrial yard environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Perform other duties as directed.
