Job Description

Colossus is seeking a new Farmer's Market Associate for our Sunday Farmer's Market!

This is a PART-TIME position, once a week at our Sunday Farmer's Market at the Long Beach Marina. Shifts can start as early as 6:30 AM and end as late as 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Set up for farmer's market, including but not limited to: tables, tents, bread and pastry crates and carts, espresso cart
• Experience with customer service + conflict resolution
• Cash-Handling
• Memorization of menu and common allergens

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced customer service or food service environment
• Experience handling food (food handler's certificate will be required if not already held)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for up to 8.5 hours with breaks, ability to bend reach and work in an outdoor environment

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Clean Driving Record/driver's license (if driving company van)

• Barista experience preferred but not required

• Passion for farmer's markets, artisan baked goods and/or seasonal cuisine

• Desire to work outside
